So yeah, I changed the heading.

Woke up at 0528 hrs after a highly disturbing dream, bordering on sick, freaking and just plain unsettling. The dream went on something like this:
*something happens*
I'm going up to my home by means of an elevator (strange, considering that lately, I've been taking the stairs). Even stranger, the elevator is going downwards instead of upwards. So, when the elevator went down to my floor, I knew that the something would happen, and it did. The lift got jammed at my floor. Then suddenly I was outside the lift, and walking down the stairs in my uniform. Walking, walking, then I chanced upon a woman and her ?son? I think. I was watching, mesmerised for some reason, when a man appeared. I was forced to watch as the man pulled out a pistol and shot the boy first, followed by the woman. Then I think I woke up.

It was damn disturbing. I swear I was shivering when I woke up. So for some reason, I decided to take a hot shower, even though I told myself that I would never take a hot one again (hey, it's to save the earth!). Felt so good, I forgot how great hot showers were. Had my usual fill of Sausage McMuffin and Coffee from mac. Picked coffee since I didn't feel like drinking iced milo today. Used a voucher that we (me, esrinda and cheng boon) won from that sumo robot competition to buy myself 2 lecture pads, 2 black pens (since I was all out) and a new set of french curves (mine broke last year). First lesson was chemistry. As usual, kaijie and I were the first to reach the chem lab (although I was earlier). And as usual, the class took 15 minutes to get down to the chemistry lab, so that 15 minutes was wasted. Why can't the class get down earlier, like in the first few lessons of the year, when the whole class got to the lab in 5 minutes flat. Those days were much more enjoyable. Mrs Teh used the first 15 minutes to show us some old newspaper cuttings dating from around the year 2000 to 2003 on renewable energy resources. It made me realise, wow, singapore really is doing a lot to try and be environmentally friendly and reduce carbon emissions. She showed us a design of a bus that Singapore considered importing, good thing it didn't, since it used hydrogen (a lot of it, in fact the entire roof was devoted to holding hydrogen canisters. If a spark ignited there, it would be GG for the passengers of the bus, the bus and the vehicles/people around it.) Then we went straight into organic chemistry. Drugs, plastics, cloth, etc are made of organic compounds, since they have carbon in it. Is that right? Then she introduced us to different types of structures for carbon molecules, since carbon has to be so extra and have 4 electrons in its outer shell. So it can create 4+ or 4- (is that right?) ions, and link up with some 4385y324571--779732498 hydrogen ?ions?atoms?dunno. The whole structure of organic molecules thing is sooo confusing, luckily I know I will get it right eventually. We were told that organic chem need lots of 'memory', and that most of it has been taken out. Good riddance, I don't like rote learning (even though some 63% of the school syllabus is based on that).

So next was A.Math. Didn't take up my notes cause I understand the Intercept Theorem. Unlike a certain someone... heh. Not much to say here. Then came E.Math. Hah, someone got shooed away, cause someone was taking up shakilah's seat. Were supposed to take out the Peicai paper and ask Mrs Pong if we had questions, so I took out my file and WTH! It wasn't in there!!! And I had like finished the whole paper already, except for like 4 questions. So I was forced to sit there and wait until the lesson was over. -.- For some reason, felt very very very very very very very sleeeeepy during the whole day. (Don't worry Mr Lim, it's not your fault. I was just super sleepy, even though I slept early yesterday.) Amanda was called up to give her answer for 1a) of the SBCS. I actually thought it was... dare I say it? Lousy XP (sorry amanda!). But she still got 4-5 out of 6. So does that mean my answer, which was 'okay', would have had 5-6 out of 6?

Updating from school: Teck Yang got owned by a soccer ball from jinliang (I think) who was trying to steal his family jewels. OH, so painful, he's all in Stitches now. Haha. And during English he and izzad got caught by ms zahra for poking each other and doing the loser sign. Haha, what a loser (not you izzad). Nothing much to say about chinese, wasn't very interesting, as usual.

Then D&T started. Surprise, surprise, the room was already open, even though it was another 25 minutes till the lesson started. I was first, followed by someone whose name doesn't quite fit her character. So obviously, I got started soon, since I wanted to finish by today. Was joined by the r7 people shortly after. At first I thought esrinda wasn't here today, but was proven wrong when she suddenly popped up from nowhere. Said that she had gone home to put her stuff down. So anyway, i continued to apply lacquer to the piece of wood that I was going to use as the base of my artefact. Then Mr Ong asked me where zu an, teck li and cb were. I tolde him they were going to DSA, but apparently, it wasn't till much later, so they arrived anyways. Cheng Boon was continuing to work of his piece that had broken some 76503610 times before and so had to redo it every single time.
Then me, esrinda, jie eng and melissa sat down at one of the tables and started talking about all sorts of things. Es said that she had finished watching all episodes of Pushing Daisies, so that means... *gasp* she watched it online! Illegally! Then Jie eng started telling me some sort of ghost story. It goes something like this:
There was this guy with this girlfriend A. Then he started an affair with another girl, and ditched A. So A threatened to commit suicide if they broke up. But he left her anyway. So one night, while he and his new gf were sitting on the couch watching tv and kissing, the tv program was interrupted by a news flash. A girl had just jumped off a building, and had landed head-first. So the guy's friend (not the gf) phoned him and told him that, when sleeping, you must sleep under the bed, because ghosts cannot bend their spine, and so she would not be able to find him. At first, he didn't care about it, and when night came, he slept with his gf (get your mind out of the gutter!) on the bed. Then, at twilight, he was woken by this sound outside his room.
THUMP! THUMP! 你在哪里。。?

So he became very scared. Then he remembered what his friend said about sleeping under the bed. So he quickly scrambled under the bed and shut his eyes, his heart hammering with fear.
Then he felt a cold presence in his room, and a chill wind blew. Listening intently, he heard this:

找不到。。。
Feeling safe, he opened his eyes.
找到了!
Then he died. Why was the ghost of the dead girl able to find him?
Cause the girl landed head-first, so her head was on the ground, not on the top. Stupid right?
Anyway, another story (real life!). Happened to *coughmelissacough*
There was a one Melissa, aged 10 years 21 weeks 2 days 9 hours and 17 minutes old.
She was watching television in her room, and got very sleepy. So she turned off the television. Then she shut her eyes. Barely more than a minute later, the television turned on by itself. So she got up and turned it off again. Then she went to sleep again, and then it turned on again.
Freaked out, she retreated to a corner and turned off the main power. To her dismay, the tv started alternating between on and off mode. So she whipped out her handphone and smsed her mum who was in the adjacent room (because she was scared to make any sound or movement) to come over. She then pulled up her blankets over her head.
Moments later, her mum entered the room. Melissa shouted out, "Mummy! The TV!"
The television was still flickering. Then her mum went over to Melissa's bed, picked up something, and the tv stopped flickering.
Why?
The remote was faulty. So the tv kept switching.
Then why did the tv not turn off when Melissa switched off the main power?
Her mum pointed out her mistake: she had turned off the wrong switch.
Double lame right?

Then es asked me, do you want to go to poly or JC?
She said that initially, she wanted to go to a JC. But after the aforementioned organic chemistry, she reconsidered her choice, since half of the 'A' level chemistry requires organic chem.

Then Jie eng told me a very cold joke. It goes like this:
小明走在路边。
突然,他的脚很酸。
为什么?
因为他踩到了棱檬。
Ha ha......

Was using the glue gun to glue the acrylic glass and the rubber thing together, so I had to peel off the covering. Then I glued the joints; however, the first few results were less than desirable.
Joint 1. Came apart quickly, so I redid it.
Joint 2. Stronger, but still very wobbly, and redid it.

Was peeling the covering off acrylic piece -4- when Jie eng and melissa suddenly wanted to peel it off instead. So being the kind-hearted person I am, I allowed them to peel it off.
Big mistake.
Instead of coming off in one nice piece, it came off in bits and pieces, and looked totally urgh. So I had to ask esrinda to salvage it. Thanks esrinda!
And yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!!! The artefact is complete.
