hello.
felt like complete trash today.
bad hair day. maybe I'll change my hairstyle.
math test = dead.
felt sick. and bloated. luckily my throat was a little better.
amazingly, we finished chem spa ahead of time. I mean like WOW! usually when the bell rings we're still not done yet...
oh and PE sucked. I still prefer running.
and I'm skipping CO to do my work... which I should be doing right now instead of blogging.

Current 2.4km timing: 12'09" (if I remember correctly)
2.4km goal: 11'40"
Deadline: 4 weeks from now.
Steps to take:
Run 2.4km every saturday night. Followed by 20 minutes of brisk walking. Total time should be less than 35 minutes.
Take in less carbohydrate. (check)
k done with that minor goal setting.
maybe I should go back to having no life.
might work well for my grades.

Messed up bio SPA again.
This time, I totally screwed up the experiment.
I blur blur go add the methylene blue to the boiling tube instead of test tube.
even better, I emptied the contents of the visking tubing back into the boiling tube.

so I ended up not finishing the experiment and the worksheet. again.
No CO today.. awww...
Odd.
When I started to try and read some of the GP stuff this afternoon, I got soooooooooo sleepy that I laid down to rest for a while..
and woke up 2 hrs later feeling damn lethargic. Like I didn't sleep at all. =/
and I had a very... strange... dream.
what was it about... hmm... can't remember =/
anyway, I'm (sorta) glad that I managed to do SOME work today...

I'm losing the drive to blog.
Nevertheless, I shall continue.
I like the math substitute teacher. She's effective.
Failed the econs test. Predictable. I hardly knew what I was writing.

I realise that economics is basically common sense with a lot of intricate detail. and complex words.
oh and by poking around a little in other people's blogs, I found out that some of them knew a guy that I worked with at NTUC. Cool. So I know people who know people who know a person I know. =D

couple of thoughts for today.
maclaurin's series is still a little confusing. mainly the expressing using standard series part.
miraculously, I did not fail the chinese comprehension done last term. got 49/70 >.>
chem spa totally screwed up. again. couldnt get a proper reading.
pe was kinda a waste of time.
but yea, other than that, today was great.
oh and cheng boon is a damn bad boy.
teck li dropped his stuff and he just stood there laughing instead of helping. tsk. =X
actually I also very bad.
can't believe I am making fun (not just me though.. apparently, this 'incident' 'rocked' the whole school, although I dun quite believe it had that impact) of someone...
what is happening to me?!

k just came back from the CO concert.
met up with the rest of the erhu section at pasir ris
we waited... for about 10 min before losing our patience and going to have our dinner.
saw zu'an there too.
to cut a long story short, we boarded the mrt train and went to tanjong pagar station where we met up with the rest of the CO.
gerald said that I was quiet.
probably. cos I didn't see much to talk about.
mrt ride back with kim yong and one other guy....
bumped into weiheng and.. whats-his-name-i-forgot.
weiheng's hair is like..... o.O

got back like 40 min ago.
went to help out for project winnie today.
turns out, they actually had an excess of help...
I ended up spending much of my time doing nothing.
lets see..
main stuff I remember:
surfing youtube on the laptop.
buying the somewhat overpriced food..
walking around the sch with abigail and jia hao.
lunch with them and another girl whose name I'm not quite sure of...
a really tall guy managing to retake a balloon that had floated to the ceiling.
bitching (only a bit though) about someone in the class...
thats the main stuff.
minor stuff:
zu'an's new specs look really odd on him. his old ones looked nicer.
joking about cheng boon and a certain someone... heheh
accidentally spilling some ice on the floor
teck li's (torn) contact lenses
abigail taking a really really looooong time to eat her food. lol.
a millipede/centipede dropping off the 3rd story and surviving
the new library is COOL!
k i really need to get my work done, or I'm more screwed than I already am.

I've been having dreams again lately.
The latest one went like this.
I was sitting at some place... I think it was sch... basketball court?
Then teck li came and sat beside me.
Then we talked and talked.
I'm not quite sure what we talked about though...
Damn.
Put on my right contact lens the wrong way.
Ended up having to 'suffer' for 6 hrs.
Vision would blur sometimes.
It was freaking hot today.
Finally a relief to retreat to the CO room for mass practice.
ARGH I'VE ONLY FINISHED ONE ECONOMICS ESSAY!!!

Though I didn't speak much, I really appreciated the company of them.
went to popular, wanting to buy some files, but ended up not buying any.

k I'm calmed down down.
Reported the loss of my calculator to the general office, but there's like 0% of ever seeing it again.
Had CO practice, which was a complete joke since the 大组 practice was like less than 1 hr... most of the time was spent on sectional practice... not to mention that some people came as late as 5pm.
oh and the concert is next saturday, not tomorrow. seems like I got the date confused.
A little full after eating alot of sushi and and alot more claypot rice.

Another tiring day has passed.
Math tutorial was the first period of the morning. I understand concavity of a curve now... I THINK. OK maybe I don't. Damn. I need help.
Much of the day passed by in a blur, but I distinctly remember there being a lot of work.
...
Was in bad form for PE.
So freaking tired after every station.
The stitch in my side didn't help either.
Finished reading Benjamin Carson's Gifted Hands last night. He's a highly respected neurosurgeon. The book tells the story of how he struggled through his early life, facing much skeptism and racism. He then learns how to make himself a better person, with some spiritual help.... (Is this part correct? I'm not sure if I summarised it right..) He eventually becomes the great neurosurgeon he is today.
It was mentioned that one of his pre-medical course jobs was being the supervisor of a team that cleaned up highways. They were the most efficient team. Why? The reason was that Ben was extremely flexible, and worked out a way to clean up the highways before the work shift had even started. Although that was against the rules, no one protested as they got the job done, and did it well.
I think such a situation won't be possible in Singapore... too much restriction on how and what we do, too much red tape to cut through.
The book is truly inspiring. It shows that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve practically anything. I'm gonna do that too. Yea.

OMG OMG OMG
I... ACTUALLY PASSED BIOLOGY!!!
It's an E though, so there's nothing much to celebrate about.
Fell far short of my original target of a B or C...
Anyway, had GP presentation today.
Although the group as a whole didn't do too bad, I have this ominous feeling that my marks are going to be the lowest of the group...
The only time when I spoke was to answer a question by our tutor, and to ask if anyone had any questions >.<
About 1.7 months to SYF...
I wonder if this CO will make it.
Played the 打鬼 song today.
The pace was so fast I could hardly keep up...
But at least I know how to play it. Roughly.
Hope my legs can recover by tomorrow.
If not... 就不堪设想了。。

Since my mouse isn't working properly, I switched the primary and secondary buttons.
It works now, but I need to get used to it.
Grrrr.. I can't do so many questions of my tutorials!!! >.<
I am never buying another size L shirt again in my life.
It's seriously freaking big. Size M from now onward.
Had a nice loooong sleep of around 11 hrs yesterday. woke up at around 2am though.
dreamed that I saw multiple luqmans...? dunno.

I realise that I haven't blogged about my dreams in quite a while.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIT MENG. HAHAHA.
k so besides that, much of today was totally screwed up.
economics test. I looked at the question and told myself 'I can do this!'
when I started to try and write, my mind went blank. shit.
I'm gonna fail this one as well.
what makes it worse is that it was SO simple. but yet I couldn't do it.
later realised that I forgot to bring my GP notebook, which is supposed to be handed in today. so I called my bro and asked him to bring it. thank you =D
went to the library to try and mug. ended up only doing one chem question... zzz
boooo... no time to relax at all.
chinese orchestra practice was a disaster for me. cos my erhu wasn't tuned properly, but I didn't dare to try and continue to tune it myself.. scared the string snap.
gonna watch an SCO performance next saturday night.... does anyone wanna go out on saturday? xD
I really shouldn't have run yesterday. my legs are feeling.... weird.

hmmm.
a little down in the morning, didnt know why.
found out that I forgot to bring practically all of my tutorials...zzz
the china scholars joined us today =O
they're gonna be here for two weeks.
I think their english is pretty good. really.
chem spa was ok... except that I anyhow whack the answers one. =/
oh and abigail performed a miracle of science! she managed to manipulate methyl orange into showing acidic solutions as alkalis!!! ZOMG!!! lol.
GP was spent doing chem. no, I wasn't doing it secretly while the tutor was talking.
the tutor wasnt in school today. so we went to the library, supposedly to do GP, but...
I think I ate too much today. DONT YOU DARE RAIN ON MY PARADE TOMORROW. LOL. I really need PE.. or I'll go back to being super fat.
